V5: Lifted is the first piece in the Convergence Series to name the mechanism directly. Sky footage from a dawn drive. An original composition built around a single sustained note that holds the body in suspension before releasing upward. A voiceover asking the question the whole series is circling
Three channels arriving simultaneously — the gaze sent upward into the wide sky, the sound reaching the body before interpretation begins, the forward motion of the car carrying the nervous system through space. Something lifts. That is what the piece is investigating.
