Flow is our brain’s peak performance mode.

This is where creative problem-solving comes naturally, anxiety fades, and we feel fully alive. In the past there has been a view that these peak experiences seemed random and we could not do anything to activate them for ourselves. But science is now showing us how to cultivate flow intentionally.
As wellbeing professionals, I believe that understanding flow gives us powerful tools both for ourselves and our clients. When we can help people move from rigid, anxious thinking to flexible, creative problem-solving, everything can change for them. Flow science also shows us that we can go further than just feeling ‘okay’. We can thrive and operate at our peak when we use flow to supercharge our practice.
